The main goal of The Hesed Project is to share the light and love of the divine with everyone we meet and help others to recognize that divine light and love within themselves. Through the simplest to the most profound interactions, we meet people where they are at. We feel that the services we provide are among the most meaningful people will experience because of our openness and connection to the Spirit which guides everything we do. Whether presiding over a wedding, providing a retreat experience, working with people through our healing ministry, or remembering and celebrating the life of one who has passed on, the Spirit is our guide.
Hesed (hes' ed) - [Hebrew ] n. the unconditional love of God; lovingkindness "Hesed, which is manifest in both the Hebrew and Christian testaments, is the one single idea with the greatest potential for healing, for understanding, for nurturing a broken and aching world, and for welcoming the poor and the stranger. Loving kindness, hesed, flows from God to God's beloved creatures, and is commanded by God between all people, one to another. Hesed is the sanctifying deed, the Law in whose presence all other laws stand aside, the way in which the holy and human recognize each other."
